## Root Cause Analysis

### Hypothesis 1: CSS Tailwind Rendering Issue
**Evidence**:
- User mentioned "could be a tailwind issue"
- Console shows no visibility/display/opacity issues
- Layout should work with simple Tailwind classes

**Why It Might Fail**:
- Tailwind CSS might not be rendering certain utility classes correctly
- Could be a CSS specificity or cascade issue
- Might need explicit height on parent container

### Hypothesis 2: Content Overflow/Positioning
**Evidence**:
- Reset button (bottom) is visible
- Simulate button (top) is hidden
- User: "you have cut off the top of the modal"

**Why Layout Fixes Failed**:
- The container itself might have a parent with constraints
- Could be absolute/relative positioning issue
- Flex/Grid layout might be collapsing

**Approach**: Start from scratch with minimal HTML

1. Create standalone test page with ONLY the pressure chart
2. Use inline styles instead of Tailwind classes
3. Explicitly set container heights in pixels
4. Verify button visibility before adding to production

### Option C: Alternative Implementation
**Consider**: Maybe the JavaScript-generated content approach isn't working

1. Move button HTML to architecture.html (not generated)
2. Let JavaScript just update values, not render structure
3. This ensures buttons are always in DOM before script runs

5. ✅ Tailwind classes are standard (bg-amber-500, w-full, etc.)
6. ✅ No JavaScript errors in console

**Yet the button is invisible.** This suggests a CSS rendering or browser-specific issue that requires direct inspection to diagnose.
